The profile of people entering the Temporary Living Program is largely people who have a need to find emergency shelter due to loss of employment or just starting a new job.

It is short-term housing with a long-term solution. OSC/One Step Closer, Inc. believes in investing in people. All one needs is a second chance. OSC/One Step Closer, Inc. can give them that chance by providing housing for 1-3 weeks to help someone in need become financially stable.

Through our program, these people are put in contact with the social service support they need, while being able to search for employment with diginity, knowing they have a roof over their heads and a clean and sober place to live. Assistance is given to them in finding a job and helping them move to permanent housing upon graduation through our Rental Repair Program.
