Dear
Sir or Madam: _________________________________
I
am pleased to announce that you have been accepted into the
Drug and Alcohol Program at One Step Closer. We are forwarding
your information to our facility staff, which will be responsible
for handling your intake and application when you arrive.
I have attached some of our basic rules and program fees on
a separate form.
Our
staff consists of outstanding and dedicated members and volunteers
who combine a broad range of duties that create a dynamic
and stimulating environment. We look forward to having you
join our program.
You
are welcome to contact our staff members anytime. They are
available to assist you with any questions or concerns you
may have. Our support staff is here to help ensure that transition
to O.S.C. is a smooth one.
One
aspect of our program is to insist that our clients are working
towards having total financial support for themselves within
the first thirty days. Subject to satisfactory progress, weekend
passes and other privileges are given with written consent
from the staff, client's case worker, and/or Parole/probation
officer. Although there is more to say about the program you
are entering, I believe personal contact with our staff and
current clients can better serve to explain the other details.
Please
communicate this letter with your intake co-coordinator and
C.O. III to confirm your release date, as we have already
placed a bed on hold for you. If we do not hear from you on
your scheduled release date by 3 p.m. without prior notice
of change, we cannot hold your bed past that date. Further,
where appropriate, if you fail to arrive on your set date,
we are obligated to notify your assigned parole/probation
officer's along with any other applicable agencies regarding
your failure to comply with your release provisions. We look
forward to being a vital part of your transition into society
as you get ONE STEP CLOSER to your new way of life.
Sincerely,
Paulina
Castillo
